Full Stack Developer Intern (Node.js)

Overview

Praetor Technologies is seeking a motivated Full Stack Developer Intern to work on modern web applications and backend systems. This 3-6 month remote internship provides hands-on experience across the full software development lifecycle, including frontend development, backend API development, database design, authentication, and deployment. You will collaborate with the engineering team to build scalable, secure, and high-performance applications while following industry best practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop responsive web interfaces
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs
• Design and optimize relational databases
• Implement secure authentication and authorization
• Write clean, modular, and maintainable code
• Debug, test, and optimize application performance
• Collaborate using Git-based workflows

Qualifications

• JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3
• Node.js and Express.js
• PostgreSQL and Supabase, understanding of REST APIs and MVC architecture
• Git and GitHub
• Bonus: React.js, Next.js, TypeScript, Docker, Redis, Elasticsearch, WebSockets, or cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
